Cartouche: In Egyptian hieroglyphs, a cartouche is an oblong enclosure with a horizontal line at one end, indicating that the text enclosed is a royal name, coming into use during the beginning of the fourth dynasty.


Scarab: A dung beatle especially the Scarabaeus sacer worshipped by the ancient Egyptians as an embodiment of the god Khepri (an amulet made by that people in the shape of the species is also called a scarab).

Eyes of Hor or Horus: Seth, whom the Greeks called Typhon, the nefarious demon of death and evil in Egyptian mythology, is characterized as "a strong god (a-pahuti), whose anger is to be feared." The inscriptions call him "the powerful one of Thebes," and "Ruler of the South."

Pyramid: The most famous pyramids are the Egyptian pyramids: Huge structures built of brick or stone, some of which are among the largest man-made constructions. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest in Egypt and one of the largest in the world.

Pharaoh: Pharaoh is the title given in modern times to the ancient Egyptian kings of all periods. In antiquity it began to be used for the king, who was the religious and political leader of ancient Egypt.

Isis: Isis is a goddess in Ancient Egyptian mythology and is celebrated as the ideal mother and wife, patron of nature and magic; friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, the downtrodden, as well as listening to the prayers of the wealthy, the maiden, the aristocrat and emperor
