Celtic Triquetra and Trinity Pendant

One of the most popular parts of Celtic Jewelry is Celtic rings, Celtic Cross Necklaces and the Celtic Trinity Pendants shown on this post.
The Celtic Trinity knot is also called a Triquetra Pendant or a Triskele Pendant. They all come from the root "tri" meaning three. In the case of the Triquetra pendant it means that their are three points to the knot. The Triquetra pendant or Triskele pendant has become known as the Trinity Knot due to the influence of Christianity on the Celts.
The three points of the knot came to represent the Holy Trinity and became known by some as a religious jewelry item.
