Irish and Scottish Jewelry

IRISH AND SCOTTISH JEWELRY

Irish jewelry and Scottish jewelry are derivatives from Celtic jewelry. They have evolved from Celtic influence and developed their own style of jewelry with a influence all there own on one hand yet maintain in some pieces some Celtic jewelry influence.

For instance, with Irish Jewelry there is Clover Necklace Jewelry and Four Leaf Clover Necklace Jewelry that revolves are the Irish folklore and tradition centered on Shamrocks and four leaf clovers. In fact most Irish jewelry outside of Claddagh jewelry revolves are either Irish culture or Irish tradition. Some of the irish jewelry dealing with culture is Irish jig dancing and Irish tradition would be 4 Leaf Clover and Irish Shamrock Necklace and Irish good luck jewelry charms.


Scottish Jewelry has some irish and Celtic influences. Scottish jewelry has it's own Luckenbooth style Claddagh design and the Claddagh symbol comes from Irish jewelry. They have some Celtic influence in the design of their modified Claddagh designs. There is also the popular Thistle charm. The thistle is the Scottish nation emblem.
