Spring
Oh blessed Spring!
Comes softly shining!
Her radiance brightly beaming;
Peeking through the tree tops, over hill and dale
Into the garden beds of mind and soul
Awakening seeds long since forgotten
Her presence signaling renewal
Winter's passed
Sweet, tender Spring!
Nurturing life into motion
Her warm breath gently bidding,
Beckoning buds and flower to open wide
Compelling me, entreating me to follow suit
Encouraging growth to begin anew
Her loveliness bequeathing hope
Thawing hearts
Delightful, fragrant Spring!
Sweetening life’s exquisite banquet
Her beguiling perfumes entice and charm
Calling out the child within to come and play
Summoning things yet unremembered to stir
Within her brilliant splendor I am reborn
Her celebration reawakening life within
Gardening souls
Exhilarating, resplendent Spring!
Extolling life and beauty from within
Her grace illuminating the divine
Inspiring germination of dreams recollected
Beseeching one and all to fulfill our destinies
Expectant, we are drawn toward life giving light
Her presence beckoning us toward
The Son
Oh blessed, radiant, Spring!
Hastening the perfecting of mankind
Her grandeur displaying Heaven on earth
Intriguing earth’s children to partake and flourish
Urging us to shed and prune away what’s passed and dead
A new path is made clear as we gather up remains
Her adorning season illustrating, time and purpose
Under Heaven
